Republic Of Ireland To Play Kazakhstan In Round 1 Of World Cup Playoffs

Carla Ward's side will be at home for the second leg of that tie.

The Republic of Ireland will face Kazakhstan in Round 1 of the playoffs for the 2027 World Cup.

Carla Ward's side will be at home for the second leg of that tie, with the two games to be played in the second week of October.

The Girls in Green will face either Belgium or Poland in a two-legged play-off final if they get through the opening round.

Northern Ireland have been drawn to take on Portugal in the semi-finals.

While England will be up against Greece first.
