Crawford expected to make changes
Republic of Ireland under-21's boss Jim Crawford is expected to make several changes for tonight's European qualifier against San Marino
Ireland opened their Group A campaign with a dramatic 3-2 win over Turkey last Friday.
Sinclair Armstrong will be available for the game - the QPR forward joined back up with the squad yesterday after making his senior debut on Sunday.
Manager Crawford is taking nothing for granted, "San Marino are going to bring a different type of challenge. Yeah, they’ll be tough to break down because they get bodies behind the ball but also they can be quite effective in counter-attacks.
"They played against Norway the other day and they had a couple of chances at 0-0 early in the game, so the players are well aware of that."
Ireland’s Group A campaign started in perfect fashion as Aidomo Emakhu’s 96th minute winner game them a 3-2 opening day win against Turkey.
Kick off at Turner's Cross is 7.30.
Elsewhere in the Group, Norway host Latvia and Turkey meet Italy.
