Robbie Keane has landed his first job as manager in football by taking over at Israeli side Maccabi Tel Aviv.
The all-time leading Republic of Ireland goalscorer has worked in the backroom teams with Middlesbrough and Leeds United while he has also been employed by the FAI since retiring.
Keane was available following the end of his short spell with Leeds and has landed the role in Israel.
Maccabi finished third last year and will compete in the Europa Conference League qualifiers next month. surprise
