He plays alongside Shane Lowry in the Zurich Classic of New Orleans

Rory McIlroy returns to action this afternoon, playing his first tournament since winning The Masters earlier this month.

He'll tee up alongside Shane Lowry as they seek to defend their Zurich Classic of New Orleans title.

The Irish duo will be out for the opening fourballs at 1.50pm Irish time.

Leona Maguire is among those in opening-round action at the first women's major of the year, the Chevron Championship.

The Cavan golfer tees off in Texas just after 7.30 Irish Time.
