FA Cup third round continues & Munster host Ulster

The all Premier League clash, between holders Leicester and Watford, is the highlight of today's FA Cup third round action.

Seven other top flight sides face lower league opposition.

Burnley entertain Huddersfield, Crystal Palace make the trip to fellow Londoners, Millwall.

Wes Hoolahan and Cambridge go to Newcastle, Brighton are away to West Brom.

At 5.30, Chelsea welcome Conference Premier side Chesterfield to Stamford Bridge, and Everton face a tricky test at Hull.

Michael Obafemi could face his former club Southampton, with Swansea hosting the Premier League outfit.

There was to be no fairytale start to this weekend’s third round action.

Manchester City won 4-1 away to Swindon of League Two.

After a pair of festive postponements, Ulster play their first game in nearly three weeks this evening.

Jack McGrath and Ben Moxham make their first starts of the season as Dan McFarland’s side play Munster in a United Rugby Championship match at Thomond Park.

Simon Zebo and Peter O’Mahony are among those returning to the Munster starting fifteen.

Eadestown's Tadhg Beirne returns to the bench.

Kick-off in Limerick is at 7.35

Seamus Power is seven shots off the lead heading into the third round of golf's Tournament of Champions in Hawaii later.

The Waterford man is 10-under-par after signing for a round of 65 last night.

Australia's Cameron Smith has a three-shot advantage over the field at 17-under.

There’s a seven-race card at Cork this afternoon, with the first going to post at 12.30.
