Shelbourne & Rovers Advance To League Phase Of Conference League

It's the first time two League of Ireland clubs have advanced to this stage

Two League of Ireland clubs are set to play in league phase football in Europe in the same season for the first time.

Shelbourne advanced to the league phase of the Conference League thanks to a 5-1 aggregate win over Linfield after a 2-0 win on the night last night at Windsor Park.

And Shamrock Rovers also booked their place in the league phase after a nil-all draw against Santa Clara helped the Hoops to a 2-1 aggregate win.
