South Africa survived a spirited Scotland comeback to claim a 42-28 victory in the Nations Championship.
South Africa made it two wins from two in the Nations Championship after overcoming Scotland 42-28 in a high-scoring contest in Pretoria.
They are one of only three teams to win their first two games, with Ireland and New Zealand being the other two teams to do so.
The Springboks raced into an early lead before Scotland battled back to level the game at half-time.
The hosts regained control with a burst of second-half tries, and although Scotland closed the gap late on, Jesse Kriel's breakaway score sealed victory for the world champions.
