They are in extra-time against Westmeath in a close match that currently stands 2-17 to 0-22 in Kildare's favour.

In ladies football, Kildare lost 2-14 to 11 in Parnell Park against Dublin.

And in the Connacht senior final, Galway lead Mayo 1-10 to 0-5.
In hurling, Clare lost 1-18 to 2-30 to Limerick in Munster championship Round 3.
Soccer
In the Premier League, Crystal Palace lost 3-nil to Bournemouth and Manchester United are leading Liverpool 2-nil.
At seven, Aston Vill take on Tottenham.
In the Scottish premiership, there are two key games in the title race this weekend.
Celtic won 2-1 against Hibernian, bringing them top of the table.
Then tomorrow at half past five, Hearts are home to Rangers.
Rugby
In rugby, Bordeaux Begles lead Bath 24-12 in the Champions cup.
The winners will meet Leinster in the final.
While in the Challenge Cup, Montpellier beat the Dragons 18-12.
They will face Ulster in the final.
Golf
In golf, Shane Lowry is tied for 52nd on one-over-par heading into the final round of the Cadillac Championship.
Cameron Young currently leads on 15 under.
Kildare native Lauren Walsh carded a third round 74 and survives the cut in the Riviera Maya Open in Mexico.
Racing
Racing today was in Cork from 1.20, and Sligo from 1.35.
