GAA

The All-Ireland Ladies Football finals take place at Croke Park today.

The senior final between Kerry and Galway throws in at quarter-past-4, with the Kingdom looking to regain the title after beating Dublin in the semi-finals, while Galway booked their place by overcoming Armagh.

Before that, Fermanagh face Roscommon in the intermediate final at quarter to two.

While the day’s action gets underway at 11:45 this morning when Antrim play Carlow in the junior final.

Soccer

In the SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division yesterday, there were three games.

Waterford are home to Shelbourne at three o’clock, with the Blues looking to boost their survival hopes against a Shels side chasing the European places.

At five, St Pat’s play Derry City, before Galway United are away to Bohemians from seven.

Meanwhile, the women’s FAI Cup quarter-finals conclude this afternoon when Douglas Hall play Cork City at two o’clock.

Shelbourne, Athlone Town, and Galway United have already secured their places in the last four.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says the club will be "ambitious" in the transfer market - but has swerved questions about Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior.

The Premier League champions have been strongly linked with the Brazilian - but Real say he'll be staying in Spain "beyond this summer".

Arteta's confident they will have more new arrivals before the end of the window.

And in Scotland, Aberdeen got their Premiership campaign off to a winning start with a dramatic 2-1 victory over Hearts, while St Mirren beat Falkirk 2-nil.

Golf

In golf, Pádraig Harrington heads into the final round of the Portugal Invitational tied for the lead.

The Dubliner carded a seven-under 65 to move to 13-under-par overall, alongside Stewart Cink and Rory Sabbatini, with Harrington chasing another title on the Champions Tour.

Meanwhile, Yealimi Noh takes a three-shot lead into the final round of the AIG Women’s Open.

There’ll be no Irish interest over the final day, with Leona Maguire, Lauren Walsh, and Anna Foster all missing the cut.

Cyling

Ireland's Mia Griffin and Fiona Mangan are in action in Stage 2 of the Tour de France Femmes today.

Mangan finished in 54th yesterday, with griffin 134th in general classification.

Lorena Wiebes of the Netherlands won yesterday's opening stage.

Racing

And today is the final day of Racing in Galway, which starts at 1.50pm.
