Defeat for Kildare footballers vs Galway last night.
Final score in the All Ireland championship Round 1: Galway 3-21 Kildare 0-17
Playing with the wind in the first half, Kildare trailed 2-8 to 0-12 at half time.
Kildare tried hard in the 2nd half but weren’t able to match Galways’ power as the Tribesmen added 1-13 to Kildare’s 5 points.
Kildare’s next game will be in 3 weeks time.

Today, Kildare hurlers have their last game in the Leinster senior hurling championship
They play Offaly in Newbridge at 2pm.
