A very busy day on the women’s and men’s Kildare football scene.

The senior ladies contest the All Ireland Ladies Football Intermediate Semi Final in Parnell Park, agains Westmeath, at 2pm.

Kfm will have live commentary  with Ger McNally.  Sportsbeat with Paul Power begins at the earlier time of 1.45.

The Ladies U 14 side are in Leinster A final action against Meath in Radley Park, Leixlip at 12.15

In the All Ireland intermediate Camogie relegation play-off: Kildare 2-14 Tipperary 1-14

Kildare led by 2-6 to 06 at half time. Kildare retain their Intermediate status.

Offaly play Roscommon in the EirGrid All-Ireland Under-20 Football Championship final this afternoon in Croke Park from half-past-one.

The Faithful county have not won at this grade since 1988; Rosscommon’s last success was 10 years before that.

That game is followed by Meath and Cork at half-past-3 in the second of this year's TG4 All-Ireland Ladies Football semi-finals.

The winner of this will play five-in-a-row chasing Dublin in the final.

All eyes will be on Tottenham's team sheet ahead of their opening Premier League game against Manchester City this afternoon.

Spurs host champions Manchester City to north London in the main game of the day.

It's not yet known if Harry Kane will play against the club which tried to buy him over the summer.

Kick-off at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is at half-past-4.

Before that Newcastle host West Ham from 2-o'clock.

In the Scottish Premiership Celtic host Hearts at 3pm.

There are three games this afternoon in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division.

Shamrock Rovers can go three points clear at the top of the table if they beat Drogheda away from home.

Derry play Dundalk in the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium.

Bohemians are home to third placed Sligo Rovers.

All of those games kick-off at 3-o'clock.
