The Offaly native will be out from 5-under-par just before 1.30pm this afternoon.

He's seven shots off leader Louis Oosthuizen who has a one-stroke lead over the chasing pack.


Rory McIlroy will tee off at Royal St. George's from 1-under-par just after 11am this morning.

Padraig Harrington starts on 3-over at 8.50am.

There's two games in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division this afternoon.

Strugglers Waterford host Sligo Rovers from 4-o'clock.

A win for the Bit O' Red would see them go level on points at the top with Shamrock Rovers and St. Pat's.

At the same time, fourth placed Bohemians welcome basement side Longford Town to Dalymount Park.


CYCLING

Defending champion Tadej Pogachar (Tad-ay Pog-a-char) effectively clinched victory in this year's Tour de France yesterday.

He ended the time trial five minutes 20 seconds clear of the field.

Tradition dictates there is no battle for the yellow jersey on the final day, which is today.

Dan Martin is 41st in General Classification ahead of today's stage into Paris.


FORMULA ONE

Max Verstappen will start from pole position in today's British Grand Prix.

The Red Bull driver won yesterday afternoon's 'sprint' race which decided the grid positions, with Lewis Hamilton second.
