Naas Hurlers Win in Leinster; Kildare v Louth/Carlow in Leinster SFC '22; its FAI Cup Final Day

 

Naas GAA club continues to enjoy a great season.

In yesterday’s Leinster Intermediate hurling quarter final, they beat Dublin champions Castleknock by 1-20 to 1-6

Naas will play Glenmore of Kilkenny in the semi final in St. Conleth’s in two weeks time. 

Glenmore is the home club of Naas manager Tom Mullally

This afternoon’s Sportsbeat, from 2pm, will have an interview with the manager

Today’s scheduled Leinster Junior hurling quarter final between Maynooth and Trumra of Laois is off, due to Covid issue.

The Draw was made on Saturday for next years Leinster senior football championship.

Kildare are in a quarter final and await the winners of the Louth v Carlow first round.

Carlow are managed by former Kildare selector Niall Carew

In other first round games, Laois will play Wicklow, the winners to play Meath.

Offaly play Wexford, the winners to play Dublin in the quarter final.

First round games are on the weekend of April 23rd/24th

The quarter finals will take place the following weekend.

Bohemians play St. Patrick’s Athletic.
