The Kildare senior footballers played Laois in the Allianz National Football League Division 3 yesterday evening.

The full time score in Cedral St Conleth's Park was Kildare 0-21, Laois 0-09.

The Kildare hurlers were also in action yesterday afternoon.

They made the long trip to Celtic Park to play Derry in Division 2, with the game finishing Kildare 2-25, Derry 0-17.

The Kildare camogie side played Laois in Mountmellick in their first league game of the season.

The full time score was Laois 3-11, Kildare 2-5.

This afternoon, the senior ladies footballers play Meath in Division 1, hoping to bounce back from defeat against Kerry last time out.
