Three Kildare Players Have Been Named In Match Day Squad URC Against Zebre

They play in the Aviva Stadium from 5:30pm.

The Leinster team to play Zebre Parma in Round 5 of the BKT United Rugby Championship tomorrow in the Aviva Stadium at 5.30pm has five uncapped players in the matchday squad, with two in the starting side.

Hugo McLaughlin will make his debut at full-back. He was a regular in the Ireland U-20 side last year, earning eight caps.

Joshua Kenny makes his first start on the wing, with Naas’s Andrew Osborne on the opposite wing.

Hugh Cooney and Charlie Tector form the centre partnership, with Harry Byrne at out-half and Luke McGrath captaining the team from scrum-half.

Prop Jerry Cahir is the second player to make his debut from the start. 

He was involved with Leinster ‘A’ last season and joins John McKee and Rabah Slimani in the front row

Brian Deeny and Sallins’ Diarmuid Mangan are the second row.

Max Deegan moves across to blindside flanker, with Scott Penny taking the seven shirt and James Culhane named at number eight.

Donadea’s Will Connors is among the replacements.
