Kildare are 2021 Leinster Ladies Football  U 16 A champions.

Captained in last nights final, in Kinnegad, by St. Laurence’s Eimear Glancy, and managed by Seán Reynolds, Kildare beat Meath by 3-18 to 2-6

They could have won by a bigger margin only for the Meath keeper pulling off some great saves.

Kilcullen’s Edwina Birchall won the Player of the Match award but every Kildare player was exceptional.

This morning’s Kildare Today interviews with manager Sean Reynolds and team captain Eimear Glancy are podcast in the Sport section of our website www.kfmradio.com
