The men's county club football championships quarter finals are being played from tonight to Sunday.

On the DP World Tour, Jonathan Caldwell is 1 under par through 4 holes of his opening round at the Made in Himmerland tournament in Denmark.

That's one shot off the lead held by Spain's Pep Angles.

Paul Dunne, Gavin Moynihan and Cormac Sharvin are the other Irish players in the field.

Leona Maguire and Stephanie Meadow are both in the field for the Dana Open in Ohio tonight.

Meadow tees off at 5.15pm Irish time, with Maguire out on course an hour later.
