Manchester United suffered a defeat in their opening Champions League group stage game last night.

Harry Kane scored from the penalty spot for Bayern Munich in their 4-3 win in Germany in Group A.

Casemiro found the net twice for the Red Devils late on, but the result flattered the visitors.


In Group B, Arsenal thumped PSV Eindhoven by 4 goals to nil at the Emirates Stadium.

Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Jesus and captain Martin Odegaard were on the scoresheet.

In the group phase of the Europa League tonight, Liverpool play LASK in Austria from 5.45.

It's Liverpool's first appearance in the competition since they lost the final back in 2016.

Brighton's first ever Europa League game is against AEK Athens at the Am-Ex Stadium from 8pm.

At the same time, West Ham are at home to TSC of Serbia and Rangers take on Real Betis at Ibrox.
