The Kildare minor footballers beat Longford
GAELIC GAMES
A double Leinster minor football championship win for two Kildare teams last evening.
The minor lads beat Longford away in Pearse Park by 1-9 to 0-3.
Kildare led by 0-4 to 0-2 at half time
Kildare’s goal came 4 minutes into the 2nd half by Jack McCabe. Longford scored only one 2nd half point.

Then later, in Raheens GAA, the minor ladies beat Longford by 3-14 to 1-7. Kildare led at half time by 1-6 to 0-6.
Kildare goals by Niamh Farrelly in the first half, and then by Sian Gallagher and Niamh Farrelly again in the 2nd half.
Next Sunday the senior women play Clare in the Lidl League Division 3 final in Parnell Park at 4pm.

The senior hurlers Joe McDonagh game vs Offaly has been confirmed for Hawkfield at 2pm on Sunday.
