RACING

It's all eyes on the Stayers Hurdle on day 3 of the Punchestown Festival.

Gordon Elliott and Henry de Bromhead will both be looking to take the win, with Teahupoo and Bob Olinger leading the odds ahead of the race.

The feature race goes to post at 6:05pm, while the action gets underway from 2:30pm.

Kfm will broadcast live from the track in association with Ace Casino, 1 Dublin Rd, Kildare Town.

SOCCER
Arsenal earned a hard-fought 1-1 draw away to Atletico Madrid in their Champions League semi-final first leg.

The game turned on a late VAR intervention that saw Arsenal denied a second penalty after a lengthy review.

Despite the frustration, the tie remains finely poised heading back to London for the second leg.

Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa meet tonight with a place in the Europa League final within touching distance.

Both sides are in strong form, with Villa chasing Champions League qualification while Forest balance their European run with a relegation battle.

Kick off is at 8pm.

GOLF

The Blue Monster course returns to the PGA Tour today, for the Cadillac Championship.

Shane Lowry is in the field, along with Scottie Scheffler and Justin Rose.

Kildare’s Lauren Walsh and Stephanie Meadow are in action late on for the opening round of the Maya Open at Playa del Carmen in Mexico.

Walsh is underway just after 6PM, Meadow tees off after 7:30pm.
