GAA

Kildare are Leinster U 20 football champions after last nights final result of Kildare 0-23 Louth 1-18.

Kildare will play Tyrone in the All Ireland semi final next Wednesday evening.

SOCCER

Paris Saint Germain held off the challenge of Bayern Munich to book their place in the Champions League final.

The holders drew 1-all in Germany last night, but go through on a 6-5 scoreline across the two legs.

Nottingham Forest will look to confirm their place in a first European cup final in more than 40 years this evening.

They last lifted European silverware in 1980 - and have not appeared in a continental decider since.

They lead Aston Villa 1-0 heading into tonight's Europa League second leg and Portuguese side Braga hold a 2-1 lead over Germany's SC Freiburg.

GOLF

Rory McIlroy makes his return to golf later, a few weeks on from defending his Masters title at Augusta.

He's in the field for the opening round of the Truist Championship at Quail Hollow today.

McIlroy will tee off alongside Justin Rose and Matt Fitzpatrick at around 4:30 Irish Time.

On the LPGA Tour, Leona Maguire gets her opening round underway at the Americas Open.

Maguire is out on the course shortly after 1pm.

RUGBY

Ireland head coach Scott Bemand will name his team this morning for Saturday's Women's Six Nations clash with Wales in Belfast.

They'll look to bounce back from a disappointing defeat away to France last time out.
