UEFA to Refund Champions Cup Final Tickets to Liverpool Fans; Ireland Rugby Squad Named: two Kildare players named; Chelsea v Dortmund Champions League Tonight.

UEFA will refund all Liverpool fans who attended last year's Champions League final in Paris.

19,618 fans of the club will be compensated for helping prevent, what an independent Report calls a 'mass fatality catastrophe' following shambolic organisation outside of the Stade de France before the game against Real Madrid.

The final was delayed after thousands of Liverpool supporters were unable to get into the Stade de France for the match on 28 May, which Real Madrid won 1-0.

French police were filmed using tear gas on fans, including women and children.

Tickets for the final cost between £70 and £700 pounds sterling

UEFA will pay Liverpool, who will distribute the funds to supporters.

Nick Timoney and Ciaran Frawley have been included in an Ireland squad of 37 for Sunday's Six Nations showdown with Scotland at Murrayfield.

With Frawley covering centre, out-half and full-back - where he started for Leinster last Saturday - it means Joey Carbery misses out on selection, having been brought into the squad prior to the win against Italy as cover for the injured Johnny Sexton.

Gavin Coombes, Jack Crowley, Rob Herring, Jordan Larmour, Eadestown’s Jimmy O’Brien and Suncroft’s Cian Prendergast areincluded.

But Naas’s Jamie Osborne is out due to injury.
