Something Inside So Strong

Tuesday Lunch Sport Update, with Joe Mallon Motors, Sallins Rd. Naas

Boxer Amir Khan banned from all sport for two years; Chelsea v Liverpool this evening;

Boxer Amir Khan has been banned from all sport for two years following an anti-doping rule violation.

The suspension comes after the Englishman tested positive for ostarine, which is a prohibited substance, after his fight with Kell Brook last year.

Khan, who has since retired from boxing, accepted he broke anti-doping rules but said he did not do so intentionally.

An independent tribunal ruled out 'deliberate or reckless' conduct by the 36-year-old.

They entertain Liverpool at Stamford Bridge from 8pm.

Leicester begin life without Brendan Rodgers when they host Aston Villa.

That game kicks off at 7.45, with two other matches underway at the same time.

Nottingham Forest travel to Leeds and Bournemouth face Brighton.
