Tuesday Morning: Losses For SSE Airtricity League Premier Division's Top Two Last Night

Shamrock Rovers beaten 1-0 by Drogheda United & Derry City lost 2-1 to Sligo Rovers

The top two in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division - Shamrock Rovers and Derry City - both lost last night.

The Hoops went down 1-0 away to Drogheda United, with Ryan Brennan scoring the winner.

Derry were beaten 2-1 at Sligo Rovers, as Seamus Keogh's late goal secured all three points at the Showgrounds.

Elsewhere, St Patrick's Athletic were 3-0 winners over Bohemians,

Dundalk earned a 1-0 victory at Finn Harps,

And it finished Shelbourne 2 UCD 0.

New Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag says he has a blueprint for the club's future.

The Dutch native has given his first press conference since leaving Ajax to join the Red Devils.

United finished sixth in the Premier League table, 35 points behind champions Manchester City.

Ten Hag is confident there can be significant improvement on that mark:
