Dublin's Niamh McEvoy says she's retiring from inter-county football with memories which she will "cherish forever".

The 2019 All-Star was part of five All-Ireland Senior Ladies Football title winning teams and also collected two Division One League titles across her career.

McEvoy played in the women's AFL for two seasons with Melbourne and says she's "grateful" to have been able to represent Dublin for a decade.

RUGBY

Leinster backs coach Felipe Contepomi says he's heard "nothing concrete" from Argentina about potentially becoming part of their new coaching team.

The Pumas legend is being heavily linked with a assistant coach role under his former Leinster head-coach Michael Cheika with Argentina.

Contepomi insists his focus is firmly on Leinster's upcoming Champions Cup clash with Connacht.

SNOOKER

Jordan Brown is a win away from the main draw at the World Snooker Championship.

The Antrim man plays Michael White of Wales this morning in the final round of qualifiers.

The first to ten frames will earn a place in the first round proper at the Crucible.

RACING

There’s a seven-race card at Dundalk this evening, with the first going to post at 5.30pm.
