France Striker Kylian Mbappe Could Leave Paris Saint Germain

SOCCER

France striker Kylian Mbappe could leave Paris Saint Germain this summer after he informed the club he intends to leave when his contract expires in a year's time.

Real Madrid have long been admirers of the World Cup golden boot winner.

Lionel Messi has already left PSG.

Meanwhile, it's believed Arsenal are closing in on a 100 million pounds deal to sign midfielder Declan Rice from West Ham United.

And Republic of Ireland captain Seamus Coleman has agreed a new deal at Everton.

The 34 year old defender is set to stay at Goodison Park for another year.

Thousands of Manchester City fans braved the elements to celebrate the club's treble as they paraded their trophies on an open-top bus tour last night.

The parade was delayed by heavy rain before Pep Guardiola's squad presented the Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup trophies to their supporters.

GOLF

Rory McIlroy will play in a group with LIV player and US PGA champion Brooks Koepka (pr: Kep-ka) for the first two rounds of the US Open in Los Angeles this week.

Hideki Matsuyama will complete the three-ball.

Shane Lowry will play alongside Justin Thomas and Tommy Fleetwood.

Padraig Harrington is in a group with Phil Mickleson and Keegan Bradley.

And Irish amateur Matt McClean will tee off alongside Waterford's Seamus Power and Ryan Fox.

The US Senate is to investigate the deal between the PGA Tour and the Saudi backed Public Investment Fund which intends to unify professional golf under one umbrella.

In a letter to the parties, Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal wrote that the "PGA Tour's agreement with PIF regarding LIV Golf raises concerns about the Saudi government's role in influencing this effort and the risks posed by a foreign government entity assuming control over a cherished American institution."
