Tuesday Morning Sports Update

Keeping you up to date on soccer, rugby and tennis.

SOCCER

West Ham boss Nuno Espirito Santo saw his former club Wolves relegated from the Premier League after their goalless draw at Crystal Palace.

While the West Midlanders are down, the Portuguese manager's current team edged a couple of points clear of the bottom three.

Elsewhere, Chelsea will look to put an end to their losing run in the league tonight away to Brighton.

RUGBY

Ireland are continuing their preparations ahead of a huge Women's Six Nations game this weekend.

Scott Bemand's side are looking for back-to-back wins in the competition following a 50-27 win over Italy on Saturday.

They face France this Saturday - the same side that ended their World Cup run at the quarter final stage last year.

TENNIS

Defending men's singles champion Carlos Alcaraz is a major doubt for next month's French Open.

The Spaniard is struggling with a wrist injury that forced him to withdraw from the Madrid Open, which gets underway this week.

Novak Djokovic is also a doubt for Roland Garros, after pulling out of events in Madrid, Miami and Monte Carlo with injuries.
