The DP World Tour have announced the inauguration of a new award named after Rory McIlroy.
The Rory McIlroy Award will be presented to the individual member of the DP World Tour who performs best in all four major championships in a given season.
It has been set up to commemorate McIlroy's achievement of winning the career Grand Slam after his triumph at the Masters earlier this year.
