Ulster have booked their place in the Investec Challenge Cup semi-finals at Affidea Stadium.
Ulster produced a commanding display to defeat Stade Rochelais 41-24 and book their place in the Investec Challenge Cup semi-finals at Affidea Stadium.
Richie Murphy's side made a flying start, with Zac Ward crossing early before Ulster quickly built a strong lead through further scores from Tom O'Toole and Cormac Izuchukwu. Despite a brief setback with Ward sin-binned, the hosts carried a 24-10 advantage into the break.
Ulster maintained control in the second-half, with Ward grabbing his second try alongside further scores from Bryn Ward and James McCormick. La Rochelle, coached by Ronan O'Gara, responded through Tolu Latu and Joel Sclavi but were unable to close the gap.
Nathan Doak also contributed nine points from the tee in a composed all-round performance from the province.
The result sees Ulster safely through to the semi-finals after an impressive showing in difficult conditions.
