The province played much of the game with 14 men after Iain Henderson was shown a red card, but still produced an outstanding attacking display.
Werner Kok scored a hat-trick for Ulster, while Zac Ward, Mike Lowry, and Eric O'Sullivan also crossed the line in a thrilling contest at the Kingspan Stadium.
A late Stormers penalty try rescued a draw, but ulster will take plenty of positives from another entertaining performance ahead of their Challenge Cup final.
