Two goals for Georgie Kelly and one for Liam Burt saw them beat Stjarnan 3-0 on the night at the Aviva Stadium and 4-1 overall.
Sligo Rovers fell at the first hurdle however, beaten by another Icelandic side F-H 2-1 at the Showgrounds, losing 3-1 on aggregate.
