Manchester United and Arsenal in Champions League Action tonight

SOCCER

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag says there's no need to overreact after an indifferent start to the season.

They start their Champions League campaign tonight against Bayern Munich off the back of three defeats in four games.

Ten Hag says they're doing good things - but not often enough.

Kick off for their Group A match is at 8.

At the same time in Group B, Arsenal host PSV Eindhoven.

Spain's Women's World Cup winning squad have agreed to end their boycott of the national team.

The decision comes after lengthy talks with the country's football federation in which it agreed to make "immediate and profound changes".

President of Spain's governing body, Luis Rubiales, has now resigned for kissing Jenni Hermoso on the lips after the final.

But many of the players felt other issues surrounding their treatment also needed to be addressed.

GAELIC GAMES

Eamon O'Shea is being linked with a role in Henry Shefflin's Galway hurling management team.

The former Tipperary boss, who lives in Galway, previously guided his native county to the All-Ireland final in 2014.

O'Shea was also part of Liam Sheedy's backroom team for the Liam McCarthy successes of 2010 and 2019.

Mickey Harte has been handed a three year term to manage the Derry senior footballers after his position was ratified by the county board.

He'll be assisted in the Oak Leaf County by Gavin Devlin, who was alongside Harte in Louth for the last three years.
