Champions League Group Action Continues Tonight

Former senior star, Fiachra Ó Muineacháin has been confirmed as a selector with Kildare Senior hurlers for 2024

A key full back with the county for many years, he played in goal for Celbridge in this years senior championship.

His appointment was ratified at last night's County Board meeting.

The Champions League group stage continues tonight with Manchester United and Arsenal both in action.
United are in Denmark for a Group A encounter with FC Copenhagen.
Kick off is at 8pm.

Marcus Rashford is available again for United, but their manager Erik Ten Hag has revealed both Casemiro and Lisandro Martinez won't be back before Christmas because of injury.

Arsenal also have an 8pm start for their Group B match against Sevilla (pr: Sev-ee-ya) at the Emirates Stadium.
Gabriel Jesus is injured and Martin Odegaard is a doubt for the Gunners.

In the other match in that Group, PSV Eindhoven host Lens

In Group C, Napoli take on Union Berlin and Real Madrid host Sporting Braga.

In Group D, Real Sociedad face Benfica and Inter Milan go to Red Bull Salzburg.

In the Scottish Premiership, St Mirren face Hibernian.

Elsewhere, former Tottenham and Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has been sacked by Saudi club Al-Ittihad following a run of poor results.
The club, who boast Karim Benzema, Fabinho and N'Golo Kante among their stars, are sixth in the Saudi Pro League.
