Kildare's Róisín Byrne Nominated For Football All Star Award

Kildare's Róisín Byrne has been included in the 45-strong list for the 2023 TG4 Ladies Football All Star awards.

Byrne is one of just two inclusions from the Intermediate Championship grade, alongside Clare forward and All-Ireland final opponent Fidelma Marrinan.

The 2023 TG4 All Star team will be announced on Saturday, November 18.

Mickey Harte has been handed a three year term to manage the Derry senior footballers after his position was ratified by the county board.

He'll be assisted in the Oak Leaf County by Gavin Devlin, who was alongside Harte in Louth for the last three years.

United trio Raphael Varane, Mason Mount and Harry Maguire have not travelled.


In Group B, Arsenal face PSV Eindhoven in North London, without the injured Gabriel Martinelli.
