The final score was Eire Og Corra Choill 2.18, Clane 2.16.

SOCCER

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has congratulated Arsenal on becoming Premier League champions for the first time in 22 years.

City's 1-all draw at Bournemouth means Mikel Arteta's side can't be caught on the final day.

Guardiola says he still needs to talk to the City chairman about his future.

The Premier League relegation battle is going down to the final day, after Tottenham lost at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea's 2-1 win over their London rivals means that Tottenham sit just two points above West Ham, who are in the relegation zone

West Ham need a win against Leeds, and need Spurs to lose, to secure their own safety from relegation.

Southampton will today appeal the decision to expel the club from the Championship playoffs.

The Saints admitted to multiple breaches of EFL regulations, including filming Middlesbrough's training session ahead of their semi-final first leg.

Yesterday's ruling means that Boro are now due to face Hull City on Saturday for a place in the Premier League.

Southampton were also handed a four point deduction for next season.

RACING

The going is good-to-yielding ahead of today's racing at Gowran Park.

The first in a seven-race card goes to post at 5.10pm.
