9 Carabao Cup Games tonight. 6 game ban for Namibia's Deysel.

All of those games kick off at 7.45.

There's an 8pm start at St James' Park for Newcastle United vs Manchester City.

 

Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen has threatened legal action against his own club, Napoli.

It follows criticism of the striker's penalty miss against Bologna on the club's TikTiok acount.

Osimhen scored 26 goals in Serie A (pr: Ser-ee-ay Ah) as Napoli won the title last season.


Namibia captain Johan Deysel has been banned for six games following his tackle on Antoine Dupont that left the France skipper with a facial fracture.

Deysel was sent off during the Rugby World Cup Pool A match that Namibia lost 96-0.

Deysel's yellow card following the head-to-head tackle, with France leading 54-0, was upgraded to red on review.

He will miss Namibia's final World Cup fixture against Uruguay tonight

Uruguay and Namibia will both bid for a first victory at the 2023 World Cup

They meet in Pool A in Lyon at 4.45.


There are seven flat races at Bellewstown today, with the first off at 1.25.
