Win For The Kildare Hurlers, As Ladies Footballers Suffer Defeat To Dublin

The Kildare Senior Ladies suffered defeat in their opening game of the Leinster Senior Football Championship against Dublin in Parnell Park yesterday. 

The full-time score was Dublin 4-15 Kildare 2-4. 

Next up for the Lillies is a game against Meath this coming weekend. 

The Kildare Senior Hurlers made it two wins from two in the Christy Ring Cup, with a win over Wicklow in Manguard Park Hawkfield yesterday afternoon. 

The game finished 3-27 to 0-14. 

Next up for Brian Dowling's side is a game against Derry in Hawkfield this weekend. 

The minor camogie side reached the All-Ireland final, with a win over Kerry on Saturday. 

The full time score was Kildare 5-11 Kerry 1-8.

In the Leinster Ladies U16 Final, Kildare were beaten by Dublin 2-13 to 3-7.
