Additional Russian Sanctions Expected

Additional sanctions on Russia are expected - including from the US - following calls from the Ukrainian president.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy is calling for fresh measures to reflect the actions of the Kremlin's troops.

Ukrainian prosecutors have said they are investigating 4,684 alleged Russian war crimes, after the dead bodies of civilians were discovered in Bucha.

Moscow denies responsibility and insists footage is fake.

The figures were released yesterday and reveal an estimated 167 children have also died as a consequence of Russia's invasion - according to prosecutors.

They described towns surrounding Kyiv as a "tortured region from hell".

Former senior British Army officer, General Lord Richard Dannatt, says the evidence will speak for itself:

The European Commission President is warning the EU's latest sanctions on Russia won't be the last.

The measures include a ban on coal imports worth €4 billion.
