Gardaí in Kildare have seized a high-powered electric scrambler following reports of dangerous driving in a busy village in the north of the county.
The vehicle, valued at approximately €7,000 and capable of producing 6,000 watts of power, was seized by the Kildare Roads Policing Units.
Gardaí say the rider was seen performing a wheelie before travelling at speed along the centre of a road, despite traffic moving in both directions and pedestrians nearby.
Officers subsequently located the rider and seized the scrambler under Section 109A of the Road Traffic Act.
