Britain's Prince Charles & Duchess Of Cornwall To Visit Ireland In March

As part of Queen's Platinum Jubilee year

Britain's Prince Charles and his wife Camilla will visit Ireland next month.

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall will be here from the 23rd to the 25th of March.

The visit is part of a series of royal tours to mark the British Queen's platinum jubilee year.

Queen Elizabeth II is the longest-serving British monarch in history, with 70 years of service.

The 95 year-old immediately ascended to the British throne on 6th February 1952, when her father King George V died.

Queen Victoria previously held the title, reigning for 63 years & 216 days, from 20th June 1837 until her death, on 22nd January 1901.

Queen Victoria is Queen Elizabeth II's paternal Great-Great Grandmother.
