Boris Johnson was fined for breaching Covid-19 regulations in 2020

The British Prime Minister will later face a House of Commons vote on whether claims he misled MPs over lockdown-breaking parties should be investigated.

Boris Johnson has been hit with renewed calls to resign after being fined for breaching Covid-19 regulations in 2020 - something he "bitterly" regrets.

The UK's Labour Party has accused him of apologising just "for the cameras", though.
