4.2 million cases recorded in one week
In Britain, cases of Covid-19 have increased by approximately one million - or about 30% - in one week.
Confirmed infections reached 4.2 million in the seven days to Saturday.
Increases were seen in England, Scotland and Wales - where restrictions are due to be lifted next week.
Wales' First Minister will end requirement to wear face coverings in shops, and on buses and trains from Monday.
The need to self-isolate while infected will also be removed.
While it won’t be law, Mark Drakeford says there is a solid business reason to stick to the guidance:
BREAKING: England's R-number is now estimated to be between 1.1 and 1.4 - meaning no change has been observed.
