Jacob Zuma found to be in contempt of court
South Africa's former president, Jacob Zuma, has handed himself over to police.
Last week, Mr. Zuma was sentenced to 15 months in prison.
The 79-year-old was found to be in contempt of court for refusing to give evidence at an inquiry into corruption, during his time in office.
Hundreds of his supporters, some armed with guns, spears and shields, had gathered near his home to try to prevent his arrest.
