David Amess stabbed to death during constituency surgery
Tributes have been paid at the funeral service of British MP David Amess following what his family has called "his cruel and violent death".
The father-of-five was stabbed to death in Essex in October.
A church service was held in his constituency of Southend.
Mr. Amess' friend, and former Conservative colleague, Ann Widdecombe read a statement from his family:
A horse-drawn hearse carried the casket on a procession through the town.
