History will be made this morning when the Ukrainian President addresses the joint Houses of the Oireachtas.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy's virtual speech will mark the first time the leader of a country at war will speak to the Dáil and Seanad.
Last month he appeared to criticise Ireland's response to the crisis at an EU summit, seeming to refer to Ireland's support as being "almost" there .
Ukraine's ambassador to Ireland has said his comments were misinterpreted.
