Believed to be filming the Amazon series 'The Expats'
The Hong Kong government has appeared to confirm that Nicole Kidman was exempted from quarantine in the country, last week.
In a statement released, in which Ms. Kidman was not named, the government noted it had granted some foreign overseas film personnel permission to skip the requirement, adding the work was "conducive to maintaining the necessary operation and development of Hong Kong's economy".
It continued, noting quarantine exemptions cases may be submitted to the country's Chief Secretary,
If granted, safety measures include vaccination prior to arrival, "COVID-19 testing and securing negative results on arrival and at intervals" & a designated pace to stay while visiting.
This has led to criticism from residents, who have to adhere to some of the most stringent coronavirus restrictions in the world.
It's believed the 54 year old actress was in the country to film her Amazon series, 'The Expats'.
Reports claim Kidman was spotted shopping & filming in the area, after arriving from Sydney a week previously.
