719 deaths recorded in British Columbia
Hundreds of people are thought to have been killed by a record-breaking heatwave sweeping across parts of Canada and the US.
719 'sudden and unexpected deaths' have been reported in British Columbia over the past week, while 100 fatalities in Oregon are being investigated as heat related.
Canada's also dealing with a string of forest fires caused by lightning strikes.
