A 25 year-old man has been charged with the murder of David Amess.
Ali Harbi Ali from north London is also accused of the preparation of terrorist acts.
The Conservative MP was stabbed at a constituency surgery last week, in Essex.
Mr. Ali has appeared before Westminster Magistrates' Court and been remanded in custody.
David Amess had been meeting constituents in Leigh-on-Sea when the incident took place.
Tributes have since poured in, with his family saying their "hearts are shattered".

Mr. Ali has been remanded on custody, and is due at the Old Bailey in London tomorrow.
