Plane crashed in January 2019, killing both the footballer & pilot
In the UK, a man has been convicted in connection with a fatal plane crash involving footballer Emiliano Sala.
The 28 year-old had just been signed by Cardiff City, and was flying to Wales from Nantes, France, when the plane came down off the coast of Guernsey, on 21st January 2019.
Mr. Sala & pilot, David Ibbotson were both killed.
David Henderson, who arranged the flight, has been found guilty of endangering the safety of an aircraft.
The 67 year-old had admitted attempting to arrange a trip for a passenger, without permission or authorisation, but denied the charge of endangering an aircraft.
