Restrictions eased at 12am this morning
Nightclubs reopened in Scotland at 12am this morning.
Restrictions eased in the country at that time, as social distancing laws end, and self-isolation rules for people who have been fully vaccinated lift.
Face coverings are still required in shops, but there is an exception for wearing them while drinking and dancing.
Large queues formed outside nightclubs before midnight, this clubber was excited to get back on the dancefloor:
'It's been really difficult not meeting new people throughout lockdown.'
